The 2025 KTM 1390 Super Adventure S EVO redefines the concept of adventure riding with increased power, advanced technology, and enhanced design. KTM’s new flagship in the adventure segment challenges riders to push beyond their limits, embracing the true spirit of exploration.
The Super Adventure S EVO has undergone an aesthetic and functional overhaul. The 2025 model features a more compact and muscular look, complete with redesigned headlight units and wind-tunnel-tested windshields for improved wind protection and reduced noise. With an adjustable range of 70 mm, these windshields enhance rider comfort during long journeys. Additionally, a spacious storage compartment with USB-C connectivity has been added, ideal for larger smartphones and accessories.
KTM has reworked the seat design, focusing on improved ergonomics and minimizing the risk of hooking pants or boots while riding. The adjustable seat mechanism now provides seamless height adjustments, and KTM PowerParts offers 11 unique seat variants, ensuring maximum comfort tailored to each rider.
Retaining the signature sporty handling of its predecessors, the chassis of the 1390 Super Adventure S EVO has been refined for greater stability:
The upgraded WP APEX Semi-Active Technology (SAT) provides real-time damping adjustments via magnetic valves and Pulse Width Modulation sensors, allowing for seamless transitions between Sport, Street, Comfort, and Rain modes. The optional Suspension Pro package even enables compression and rebound tuning.
Outfitted with DUNLOP TRAILMAX MERIDIAN tires (120/70 ZR 19 front, 170/60 ZR 17 rear), the bike handles various terrains effortlessly, from gravel to wet roads. Additionally, new Brembo brake components enhance stopping power and control, ensuring responsive braking even at high speeds.
The heart of the Super Adventure S EVO is the revised LC8 V-twin engine, boasting an increased displacement of 1,350cc and a power output of 173 PS. This engine features KTM’s new CAMSHIFT technology for variable valve timing, delivering high torque in low revs and peak power in the higher range. The bike’s emission compliance (EURO 5+) and reduced fuel consumption (6.7 L/100 km) exemplify KTM’s commitment to efficiency without compromising performance.
One of the standout features of the 2025 Super Adventure S EVO is the Automated Manual Transmission (AMT). This gearbox allows riders to choose between manual shifts without a clutch or full automation. The AMT simplifies riding by preventing stalls and providing a smooth start on inclines, making it a versatile addition for off-road and urban terrains alike.
A vibrant 8” TFT touchscreen enhances the bike’s control interface with anti-reflective, anti-fingerprint, and anti-glare properties. The screen offers seamless visibility and a full-color display, while offline map navigation and route planning are integrated for real-time guidance without the need for a smartphone connection.
The 2025 Super Adventure S EVO features advanced radar technology and updated Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with enhanced object detection and distance management. New group ride and hold functions make it safer and easier to manage close riding, while additional features like Collision Warning and Automatic Start/Stop improve safety on long journeys.
The bike’s ride modes now consolidate multiple settings for a simplified user experience. Options include Rain, Street, Sport, Offroad, and Rally (optional), as well as three custom modes. Each mode adjusts settings across ABS, MTC, and other parameters, allowing riders to switch effortlessly between various scenarios.
New LED headlight and cornering lights provide better visibility during night rides. The reworked handlebar and footrests also improve ergonomics, giving riders increased control and comfort, whether seated or standing on the bike.
The 2025 KTM 1390 Super Adventure S EVO combines unmatched power, innovative technology, and adventure-ready features, making it a top choice for riders who crave exploration. Whether tackling unpaved trails or winding highways, this machine is built to perform, bringing every adventure to life with the thrill only KTM can deliver.
